Learner Driver's Frequently Asked Questions.
Q: | Is Covered On Demand a traditional motor insurance policy? |
A: | No. Covered On Demand is a new way of buying and using an insurance policy. You buy a set number of Insured Days and use them when it suits you, also you have a longer Policy Period to use the Insured Days over. With a traditional policy you buy a set number of days to use over a set period. Unfortunatly with a traditional policy, you are also paying for days you are not driving. |
Q: | Is Covered On Demand a fully comprehensive policy? |
A: | Yes. Covered On Demand is a fully comprehensive policy in the name of the learner driver. If the learner is involved in an accident while in control of the car they are being supervised in, it is this policy that is called on. The policy operates separately to the owner's policy and protects the owner's No Claims Bonus. |
Q: | Can I drive before booking my Insured Days? |
A: | No. You are only insured to drive after you have purchased a policy and you have booked Insured Days through MY DRIVING PLANNER.
